LIP AUGMENTATION

Lip augmentation creates fuller, plumper lips and reduces fine wrinkles around the mouth. Lips may be injected with a gel or with fat transferred from another site on the the patient's body. Both are absorbed and repeat treatments are necessary to maintain results, but if the surgeon uses Permanent implants the result will be permanent.

PERMALIP IMPLANT

    The implant was invented in 2002 by two U.S.A. based surgeons.
    The implant is made of soft, solid, silicone elastomer using an injection molding process to produce a naturally contoured implant with  a smooth, non- porous surface which cannot rupture or deflate and will not degrade over time.

   Who are the best candidates for lip augmentation?

    You must be in good general health. You might not be a good candidate for lip augmentation if you have oral herpes, scarring, or certain diseases such as diabetes, lupus, connective tissue disorders, or blood clotting problems.
    Good candidates for lip augmentation are those who have realistic expectations of the outcome. Injections or implants can enhance and improve your natural look, but they're not designed to create a radical change in your appearance.
